01

Basics

The core products

Shampoo

Cleans the scalp; focus it at the roots.

Conditioner

Smooths and detangles the lengths and ends.

Hair mask

A weekly deep treatment for dry or damaged hair.

Heat protectant

Essential before blow-drying, straightening or curling.

02

By hair type

Match products to your hair

Fine hair

Volumizing shampoo and a lightweight conditioner on ends only.

Curly or coily

Sulfate-free cleansers, rich conditioners and leave-in creams.

Dry or damaged

Moisturizing or bond-repair formulas and a weekly mask.

Oily scalp

Clarifying or balancing shampoo; skip heavy oils at the roots.

03

Oils

Using hair oils well

A few drops on damp or dry ends add shine and reduce frizz. Argan, jojoba and camellia oils are light; coconut oil suits thicker hair. Avoid applying oil to an oily scalp.

04

Habits

Small changes that help

Lower the heat

Use medium settings and always a protectant.

Gentle drying

Blot with a microfibre towel rather than rubbing.

Regular trims

Every 8–12 weeks to remove split ends.

Protect from sun

Hats or UV sprays help colour-treated hair.

05

When to get help

See a doctor when

You notice sudden hair loss, patches, a painful or flaking scalp that doesn't improve. A dermatologist can check for causes such as iron deficiency, thyroid issues or scalp conditions.
